Crawd is more than a brand — it’s a visceral experience rooted in the raw essence of Bari’s culinary soul.

Born in the streets, in the alleys and along the coastline, Crawd captures the timeless spirit of Apulian street food. Its heartbeat? Crudo barese — not just as a dish, but as something to live, touch, taste, and speak.
Crawd is born as a rebranding project for Graphic Design II exam, which brief consists in gathering information about a small culinary business specializing in traditional Apulian street food, or about a person with a passion for traditional Apulian culinary culture, to visualize its personality and create a new brand around it.

This project takes root in the maritime markets of Bari, especially in the beating heart of the Santa Scolastica Market . But people don’t come here just to stock their pantries. They come to feel Bari. To hear it, smell it, taste it.

Here, butchers, fishmongers, and vendors don’t quietly wait — they shout, they joke, they sing their products to life, that isn't chaos norrudeness — it’s culture. Loud, proud, and deeply human. It's through these screams that Crawd finds its language: provokative, bold - it's a Dialetto.

Buying food becomes a ritual: people stop at stalls not only to shop, but to chat, to taste, to connect.
No glass barriers. No hesitation. Sellers offer samples freely — because they, too, eat what they sell.
Trust is built through flavor.

The fishmongers, especially, are a breed of their own.
They come from all across Puglia, waking at 4 a.m. to chase the day’s freshest catch at an improvised “street auction” in Bisceglie — gritty, fast, competitive — a hidden theater of salt and instinct, where only the best fishmongers bring the fish home from the bidding war.

Crawd finds its backbone in streetwear culture—think Supreme New York—but executed with raw energy. In Crawd, the red rectangle doesn’t contain the name…it bursts it. The name drips, splashes, escapes.

Its imagery is minimal yet obsessive: one shot, maximum punch, no caption needed. Just the Essentials.

That aesthetic meets the raw language of Barese seafoodgraphic, explicit, alive. The daily ritual of arricciamento del polpo becomes a visual and physical reference point. You see the fish curving, feel the juice slip across your fingers, hear the snap as skin breaks open—every sense engaged.

Then there’s Vicio, the Barcelona smash burger brand rapidly scaling from digital kitchens to neon-lit flagship spaces, known for its bold visuals and no-nonsense message. Vicio’s world is fast, good & loud, its branding raw and cult-like, its imagery speaking volumes without words.

Crawd translates this into its own street-food aesthetic: everyday objects become provocative canvases—hoodies, cans, skate decks, posters—all pulsing with a raw poetic energy.

In essence, Crawd is a translation of culture into visual language: traditional, visceral, street.

It tastes of Bari and speaks in all the senses—bold, unfiltered, unforgettable.
